<p>If you enjoy Sudoku, then you will definitely appreciate Hitori. Unlike Sudoku, Hitori provides all the numbers within the grid. The goal is to eliminate numbers by filling in the squares so that no number appears more than once in any given row or column.</p>

<p>Filled-in cells cannot be adjacent horizontally or vertically, though diagonal adjacency is allowed. Additionally, the remaining unfilled cells must form a single component connected both horizontally and vertically.</p>
